In the world of fabrics, the Highland Court line is a relative juvenile – marching onto the interior design scene in 2001 as the darling brain child of parent company Duralee to define and corner the market for “Luxury Fabric.”

Given its royal-sounding, old-world moniker, one might have expected that Highland Court would quickly become a euphemism for “traditional design.” Or perhaps, with Duralee’s strong design pedigree, something of an “enfant terrible” with a few lucky successes but nothing to recommend it to posterity.

Guess again.

Highland Court already has a rich enough history to stand as a veteran go-to resource on which experienced architects and interior designers depend for their most high-end fabric needs.

It began with an incredible Washed Chenille collection. It was followed up by Wool Jacquard and Wool Satin Collections, and eventually with Silk Taffeta Plaids and a spectacular Thai Silk Collection.

With this more recent sampling – the Greenwich Collection by Highland Court – traditional styling returns with a new edge. Greenwich features fresh yet timeless fabrics. Luxurious fibers are designed to accentuate a new aesthetic that borrows from the best heritage. Quaint English florals can be paired with exotic ikats. Damasks and plaids combine with a variety of rich textures and scales. It’s an ensemble performance that interior designers can use to bring together both masculine and feminine elements to create harmony and comfort in the home.

Available in a six-color book set, Greenwich begins with Sand, a versatile selection of both warm and cool neutrals ranging from natural to taupe to charcoal. Clover features clean, mid-tone greens for a pop of color. Daffodil offers saturated hues of cheerful yellows mixed with softer, creamy shades. Blue Opal highlights popular Aqua tones with coordinates such as light green, taupe and daffodil, while Indigo features beautiful rich shades of blue that are reminiscent of fine Chinese porcelain and exotic batiks. The warm and inviting tomato reds and deep ruby jewel tones of Poppy (featured here) round out the collection.

Clean, clear colors, ample coordinates and rich textures make the Greenwich Collection easy to shop. Preview a sampling here, or pop by our showroom and ask to view The Greenwich Collection by Highland Court.

Whether designing for “old money” or the “nouveau riche,” nothing exudes luxury like Highland Court.
